Bring the kids and create lifelong memories for the little ones. Come to relive your own memories and show them how it is done. This rainbow trout pond is our club’s main fundraiser. The proceeds from this event are used to maintain club property and for various conservation projects in the community. SGAF Promotes catch and release. However, that’s not to say that you can’t take a trout home for dinner. This is a perfect outing, for kids and family. There will be hundreds of Hungry fish placed in the 21-foot pool. So come on out and try to get the difficult “big one” out of the pool.
Our ideals and goals will be proudly passed on to our children and their children after them.
After the March break, the pond is taken down, and the remaining fish are removed and brought to a local lake approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The tanks with aerators are available to local community organizations where there is a need to transport live fish.
P.S. We accept and are looking for volunteers who want to put their hours on the sign-up sheet. For those students who need volunteer hours documented. Please send an email to: contact@sudburygameandfish.org
