For over 25 years, new and seasoned musicians have delighted crowds from June to August with free concerts in Bell Park every Sunday evening starting at 7:00pm.

June 2 The Cicadas – KBG
The Cicadas formed early this year in Sudbury with the hopes of performing for the masses. The vocalist and lyricist, Emma McDaniel, was inspired to create a group whose poetry would be heard and embraced. Alongside Emma are Jamie Dupuis (guitar), Pepper Admas (bass) and Christopher Dardick (drums). The Cicadas use jazz and folk-pop influences to encapsulate feelings we often push down.
June 9 Northern Memphis Revival – GHA
Northern Memphis Revival has been bringing the best of southern soul and its brethren to Sudbury since 2015. As a 10-piece mighty band that includes horns, every show is a dance party to the music of Aretha Franklin, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, Solomon Burke, The Staple Singers, Rufus Thomas and many more. Northern Memphis Revival was formed to pay tribute to Stax Records in Memphis Tennessee and to share their love of Southern Soul with Sudbury.
June 16 Brothers North – WBG
Chad and Carey, seasoned veterans of the music industry with over 40 years of experience captivate audiences weekly with their mesmerizing performances. Chad’s remarkable talent has earned him three nominations at this year’s International Singer Songwriter Association Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. Join them as they showcase their unmatched passion and dedication to the craft on one of music’s most prestigious stages.
June 23 HOTT BOXX – WBG
HOTT BOXX is a 2-member live band in Sudbury. Guitar player and singer, Dani and keyboard player and singer, Keith play gigs at events and parties in the area. They cover fun, upbeat tunes across eras and genres, with a unique style and groove completely their own. Let the good times roll with a massive repertoire, including reggae, country, rock, oldies, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, blues, and alternative.
July 14 Northern Ontario Jazz Octet – KBG
The Northern Ontario Jazz Octet is a newly formed group featuring some premier jazz musicians from the area. The group will perform a selection of jazz standards, original compositions, and arrangements from Canadian Jazz musician Terry Promane.
July 21 Pop Mach!ne – GHA
Pop Mach!ne is a rock band composed of five young members from our community looking to rock their way through the charts. This dynamic group aims to introduce classic rock to the younger generation. Members are Cassandra Walli (lead guitar), Chris Walli (bass guitar), Candice Duval (rhythm guitar and vocals), Emily Duval (keys and lead vocals) and Keegan Beaulieu (drums).
July 28 Chicks with Picks – WBG
Chicks with Picks: two musicians, guitars, a kick drum and a lot of harmony. Their repertoire includes classic rock, rolk music, oldies and top 40. With over 24 years of experience playing at festivals, bars, restaurants, weddings and private parties, they enjoy entertaining crowds of all ages and for all occasions.
August 4 Naked Soul – ESG
Naked Soul is a husband and wife duo from Sudbury playing classic and modern rock/pop music. They formed in 2009 with a passion for making music and a focus on fun. Their repertoire ranges from Janis Joplin to Lady Gaga and everything in between, which makes them appealing to a wide range of audiences. With powerhouse vocals at the realm and solid acoustic background present, these two are a delight to watch and listen to.
August 11 Big White Canvas – WBG
The duo is made up of Gilles Landry and Natalie Lalonde, trained clowns and lovers of all music. BWC is a project focusing mostly on popular songs that have impacted them. Constantly evolving and adding to their repertoire, they hope you enjoy what they are putting out.
August 18 Swing Fever Octet – KBG
The Swing Fever Octet, founded by the late Peter Schneider, has been entertaining Sudbury-area listeners and dancers for more than 30 years. The Swing Fever Octet plays a mix of well-known tunes from the big band era, ballroom rhythms and popular covers, for a beautiful evening of music under the stars. A perennial favourite of the Peter Schneider Concert Series, Swing Fever has proudly carried on Peter’s legacy by offering a fun, family-friendly dance on the final evening of the concert series, each year since the concerts began.

Please note: Concerts are held at one of three locations within Bell Park; the William Bell Gazebo, the Katherine Bell Gazebo or the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The venue selection is determined by Leisure Services based on a number of criteria, including size of performing group, expected attendance, technical requirements and the availability of locations. If a concert is held at the Gazebo, seating is not provided. Guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair. There is fixed seating at the Amphitheatre, but guests are welcome to bring chairs if they wish to sit in the grass area.
